Aillak Pannalal Digamber Jain Pathashala, Solapur which was established in the year 1885 by the Hon’ble Late Seth Hirachand Nemchand the  pioneer in Indian Industry and the institution was brought up by Hon’ble Late Seth Walchand Doshi and Seth Lalchand Doshi.  The Pathashala’s Ex-Secretary Shriman Late Bhausaheb Gandhi has also contributed at great extent for the development of the institution. The Pathashala has been working on the Philosophy of  “Shraman Sanskruti ” with the motto “ SHIKSHAN HACH DHARM ”. At present the Institution is enhancing it’s wings under the able guidance of present President Hon’ble Shriman Arvindji R. Doshi and Hon’ble Secretary Shriman Dr. Ranjeetji H. Gandhi. The ‘Kasturbai College of Education’ has been rendering it’s Services to meet the social challenges in the region by keeping all these philosophical values and traditions as it’s base.

The College with it’s specious area, well equipped norm based infrastructural facilities, creatively established educational–technology, psychology labs,advanced Language and computer lab with Internet facility, school based science labs and a rich library with about 25000 books and INFLIBNET facility,special sports ground with modern equipments along with highly dedicated, well qualified and experienced human resource which is ready to face every future challenge in producing the quality oriented teachers for the social uplitment and nation building.

The institution for its resourcefulness, achievements and services rendered was assessed and accredited at B (CGPA 2.43) level by the NAAC. The college is getting ready for its re-accreditation and assessment by the NAAC. The committee may visit college probably in the month of September 2017. We all are expecting upgraded gradation from the NAAC for the institution.

The Institution offers M.Ed. (Regular–Vacation), B.Ed., Nursery Teacher Training course, D.El.Ed., DSM., M.A.(Edu.)., and NET/SET, Ph.D. guidance Centre. It is very known ideal institution with rich academic traditions in the Maharastra State. The Institution has achieved an extra-ordinary results in it’s all past academic years of all above mentioned courses.
